  Hamilton was born in 1985.  His father was black and mother was a white woman from Britain.  His parents separated when he was two years old.  When he was 5 years old, his father got him a remote control car.  He finished second in the British Radio Car Association Championship.  However, during this time he had to face discrimination due to color.  To make his son a driver, Louis' father used to do four jobs simultaneously.

Hamilton attended Catholic School.  Here he was bullied a lot, due to which he started learning karate at the age of five to save himself.  He used to play football and cricket in school and Hamilton believes that if he had not become an F1 driver, he would have become a footballer or a cricketer.

Joined the McLaren Young Driver Program in 1998.  In the year 2007, Lewis took part in this race for the first time and also set many records.  After this he won the title the next year and he was the youngest player to win a Formula One title at that time.  Four years later he joined Mercedes.  It was here that his career got a new look which made him a superstar.
