For your information, let us tell you that on this day in the year 1950, the country got its constitution. About two and a half years after independence, the country got its constitution, the outline of which was first presented in the Constituent Assembly by Dr BR Ambedkar in the year 1948. Although the constitution was prepared on 26 November 1949 itself, but it was implemented two months later i.e. on 26 January.
