Let us tell you that some security flaws have been identified in Zoom, after discovering these flaws, the government has given the users immediate access to their zoom app Recommended to update. According to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team i.e. CERT-In dealing with cyber security threats, due to these flaws found in Zoom, hackers can join the meeting without being exposed to other people joining the meeting.

Let us tell you that if hackers are successful in joining the meeting, then they can get the audio and video feed of the meeting. Not only this, if this happens, it also means that hackers can also access sensitive information shared by the company during video or audio call meetings.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology i.e. MeitY has described this danger level as medium. In this case, both the government and Zoom have to say that three loopholes have been detected, CVE-2022-28758, CVE-2022-28759 and CVE-2022-28760 that affect the Zoom on-premises meeting connector MMR. Let us tell you that the government raised this issue on 19 September, while Zoom has already warned the users on 13 September itself.

To ensure security, the government has advised users to update to the latest version of Zoom on their desktops. It has been advised to update not only the desktop but also the mobile app.
