DMart’s profit of Rs 426 crore in the fourth quarter, revenue also increased

Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which operates D-Mart, reported a consolidated net profit of 3.11 per cent at Rs 426.75 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2022. Avenue Supermarts informed BSE that its net profit in the January-March quarter a year ago stood at Rs 413.87 crore.

Avenue Supermarts BSE (BSE) informed that its net profit in the January-March quarter a year ago was Rs 413.87 crore. Revenue from operations in the quarter under review (Revenue) It has increased by 18.55 per cent to Rs 8,786.45 crore as against Rs 7,411.68 crore in the previous financial year. At the same time, the total expenditure has increased by 18.71 percent to Rs 8,210.13 crore, from Rs 6,916.24 crore last year.
The company’s consolidated net profit has increased by 35.74 per cent to Rs 1,492.40 crore for the full financial year 2021-22, from Rs 1,099.43 crore in the year 2020-21.
Similarly, revenue from operations grew by 28.3 per cent to Rs 30,976.27 crore in the financial year 2021-22 from Rs 24,143.06 crore a year ago. Neville Noronha, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Avenue Supermarts, said the quarterly performance and experience over the past two years have instilled confidence in the business’s resilience and short-term recovery.
