Delhi Airport becomes India’s first 5G airport, internet will run at 20 times speed

Delhi International Airport Terminal 3 has become India’s first 5G service equipped airport. Air travelers coming here will be able to enjoy 20 times faster internet service. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started 5G service in India yesterday at the India Mobile Congress (IMC).

The Airport Authority has announced that Terminal 3 is now open to air travelers. 5G network Connectivity is all set to host. With the introduction of 5G service by telecom operators like Airtel and Jio, air travelers will be able to enjoy 5G internet at Delhi airport. According to the airport authority, air travelers will be able to use the internet with 20 times the speed as compared to the Wi-Fi system at the airport. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started 5G service in India only yesterday.

5G internet at Delhi airport

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has issued an official statement saying that passengers flying from Delhi Airport Terminal 3 will soon be able to use the 5G network. DIAL says that with a smartphone with 5G connectivity, air travelers will be able to take advantage of better signal and faster connectivity.

Experience 5G service on domestic departure, international arrival baggage area and Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) at Delhi Airport Terminal 3. 5G service at Terminal 3 will be rolled out in a phased manner.

PM Modi launched 5G

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 5G service in India yesterday while inaugurating the sixth phase of the India Mobile Congress (IMC). During this, Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also present. IMC 2022 is being organized at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. India Mobile Congress has started from 1st October and will continue till 4th October. This time the theme of IMC 2022 is “New Digital Universe”.

Airtel-Jio’s 5G Service

Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea (Vi) were present in the India Mobile Congress (IMC). These three companies introduced their 5G demo. Airtel and Jio will soon start 5G service in 13 cities of India. Airtel and Jio users will probably be the first to use data at 20 times the speed with 5G connectivity when the 5 service starts at Delhi Airport.
