Deaflympics 2022: Golfer Diksha Dagar creates history, wins gold medal

Indian golfer Diksha Dagar defeated Ashlyn Grace of America to win gold, this is her second medal in the deaf Olympics. She won silver in the year 2017.

  Indian golfer Diksha Dagar won the gold medal by defeating Ashlyn Grace of America in the final of the golf competition of the Deaf Olympics (Deaflympics 2022).  This is Deeksha's second medal at the Olympics for the deaf.  Earlier he had won silver medal in 2017.  She has become the first golfer to win two medals in these games. Meanwhile, France's Margo Brejo won the bronze medal by defeating 2017 bronze medalist Andrea Hovstein Helgerde of Norway in the third playoff in a fiercely contested match.  In this way, Andrea's dream of winning the second medal could not be fulfilled.  (courtesy facebook)
