India opened its account on the second day of the Birmingham Games and the weightlifters got the initial medals, but in the meantime the news of Hima Das winning the gold medal started trending on social media.

Virender Sehwag, however, immediately deleted the tweet after realizing his mistake.

It is said that there is a delay due to the accident, often these lines are written on the sign board or on any banner to prevent the vehicles from running at high speed and haphazardly on the side of the road. This applies to other aspects of life as well and is even more important especially in today’s age of social media. Now take the example of former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag. He is also expressing his reaction to the performance of Indian players in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, but has made a big mistake in this affair.

In fact, on Saturday 30 July, India won its first medals in the Commonwealth Games. India opened its account with the silver medal of Sanket Sargar in weightlifting. About two hours later, in weightlifting itself, Gururaja Pujari increased the number of medals in front of India’s name to two with a bronze medal. But even before these two medals, the news of star sprinter Hima Das winning the ‘historic gold medal’ spread on Twitter.
