Crowds started gathering at stations, railways made this special preparation for those going to Purvanchal on Chhath

Around 11 to 13 lakh passengers travel from Delhi to Purvanchal. Every day from Tuesday, more than 10 lakh passengers will go to Purvanchal from different stations of Delhi for 4 consecutive days. To participate in this great festival of Purvanchal, Railways has run trains from different parts of the country.

As soon as Diwali is over, there is a crowd of people going to Purvanchal at the railway station of Delhi. Since Monday night, passengers have started gathering at railway stations to go to their homes. most crowded Anand Vihar Railway Station But it is visible. Here Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have the highest number of people going to their homes. Passengers from both these states have started reaching Anand Vihar station from the day of Diwali. for these passengers railway Special arrangements have been made. Most of the unreserved classes at the station ie people traveling in the compartment without reservation are getting crowded. This gathering of people will continue for four consecutive days.

The Ministry of Railways has run more than 550 trains for the special festival. But there is no special arrangement for the passengers of unreserved trains. Santosh Kumar, who went to Muzaffarpur in Bihar, told that only after celebrating Diwali on Monday, at 3:00 pm, he reached Anand Vihar station to go home with the whole family. He did not have any reserve confirmed ticket, so after waiting for 5 hours, he got out of the special train going to Bihar. Like Santosh, thousands of passengers have reached outside Anand Vihar railway station. However, outside the station, the railway has put up a separate tent for the convenience of the passengers.

Many arrangements outside the station

Arrangements have been made to make ticket counters outside the station itself. There is no problem for the reserved category people, but traveling in unreserved compartment is proving to be a difficult task. The railway administration has made special arrangements for the train, but the people who reached the station are not fully aware of it. Even in the absence of information, people are not able to take advantage of the facility of trains, due to which the problem is increasing. According to the Anand Vihar Railway Administration, seeing the crowd of people, the passenger is stopped outside. After seeing the tickets, they are entered inside and arrangements are made to sit in some trains.

24 coaches fitted in every special train

According to the Railways, almost all the trains going to Northeast and Bihar have been fitted with a maximum of 24 coaches from the existing capacity.

Special arrangements for unreserved passengers

No more coaches can be installed in these trains. According to Deepak Kumar, CPRO of Northern Railway, special camps have been set up at all major stations Anand Vihar, New Delhi Railway Station, Delhi Railway Station, Nizamuddin and Sarai Rohilla. For the convenience of the passengers, arrangements have been made to run unreserved trains from these three stations according to the crowd. There is no stampede at the station, so passengers are being allowed to go on the platform only after checking the ticket. Arrangements have been made to stay outside the station.
