Farmers have to keep in mind here that they have to apply for crop insurance within 10 days of sowing.

Along with this, they should have an account in any bank, that too must be linked with the Aadhar number. Also a valid identity card of the farmers, a passport size photograph of the farmer, khasra number of the farm, residence certificate of the farmer (for this farmer can use driving license, passport, voter ID card etc.), if the farm is on rent.
