Was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack

He had suffered a heart attack on August 10 while exercising at a hotel in Delhi. He was then admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he underwent angioplasty. Since then he was on ventilator and did not regain consciousness.

In Mumbai, his brother Deepu Srivastava said, I was informed about his death by calling me in the morning. This is very sad news. He was hospitalized for more than 40 days. According to official sources in the hospital, Raju Srivastava was declared brought dead at around 10.20 am. Raju Srivastava is survived by wife and two children. Deepu Srivastava told that his last rites will be performed on Thursday morning.
