He said that there will be no loss of revenue to the state governments by reducing VAT. Economic activities have increased due to which demand has increased. In such a situation, if VAT is reduced, there will be no loss of immediate revenue to the government. VAT rates are low in BJP ruled states, but VAT is very high in other states.
