Apple recently confirmed the delay in iPhone 14 Pro model shipments. The company said that “COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily affected the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China. The facility is currently operating at a very low capacity. As we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we are prioritizing the health and safety of workers in our supply chain.

Concerned about disturbances in the Chinese supply-chain

On calls with investors earlier this year, Luxshare executives said some consumer-electronics customers, whom they did not name, were worried about disruptions in the Chinese supply-chain due to Covid-containment measures, power shortages and other issues.
