Bangladesh Premier League (Bangladesh Premier League) Monday in Comilla Victorians (Comilla Victorians) Chittagong Challengers in a one-sided match (Chattogram Challengers) was defeated by 52 runs. He was adjudged man of the match for this innings. Apart from him, Cameron Delport scored an unbeaten 51 runs.
The Challengers team was in the news before the match as a dispute broke out between the team’s owner and Mehdi Hassan Miraj, who was appointed captain at the start of the season, and Miraj was removed from the captaincy. After this, Miraj started leaving the team but then he was persuaded but he refused to captain. Naim Islam captained the team in his place.

Challengers had a strong target of 184 runs. Only one batsman played a great innings from his side. The name of this player is Will Jacques who is from England. Jacques played an innings of 69 runs in 42 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes. Apart from him, only two batsmen could go into the double figures. Mrityunjoy Chaudhary scored 13 runs. Miraj could score 10 runs. Nahidul Islam earned three successes on behalf of the Victorians. Mustafizur Rahman, Tanveer Islam, Shohidul Islam took two wickets each.
Du Plessis-Delport created a furore
Earlier, the team of Victorians came out to bat first. Liton Das scored 47 runs off 34 balls. He could not complete the half-century. In his innings, this batsman hit five fours and a six. He shared an 80-run partnership for the second wicket with du Plessis. Captain Imrul Kayes could only score one run. After this, du Plessis and Delport gave a big score to the team while playing stormy innings. Delport faced 23 balls in his innings and hit three sixes in addition to four fours. Du Plessis played for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Last season, he played an important role in giving the title to the team captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
