The company recently announced that the pre-launch bookings for these motorcycles have been started in India. The new range of touring motorcycles can be launched in India in May 2022. The motorcycles can be booked at BMW Motorrad dealerships across India.

These models come with the same exterior styling as their old range. It is believed that the MY22 bike can come in additional new color options. All four BMW 1600 models come with the same 1,649cc, six-cylinder engine.

These models get a standard electronic traction control system, three riding modes (Dynamic, Rain and Road) and two settings (Dynamic and Road) for its semi-active suspension. Apart from this, features of the bike include a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster with adaptive LED headlights and dual screens.
