Bharti Airtel Q4: Profit up 164 percent to Rs 2008 crore, income up 22 percent

The company informed today that the consolidated EBITDA of the company has been Rs 15,998 crore. Also, the EBITDA margin for the quarter has reached 50.8 percent. In which there has been an improvement of 192 basis points as compared to last year. At the same time, the consolidated income of the company increased by 22 percent to Rs 31,500 crore as compared to last year. Which was at the level of 25747 last year, there has been an increase of 5.5 percent in income compared to the previous quarter. There has been an increase of 22.7 percent in business from the domestic market and it has reached the level of Rs 22,500 crore. Along with this, the average revenue per customer ie ARPU of the company has been the best in the industry. ARPU in the March quarter is at the level of Rs 178, in the same quarter last year, ARPU was at Rs 145. In the same March quarter, Jio had recorded an ARPU of Rs 167.6. Along with this, the company has also announced a dividend of Rs 3 per share.
How were the figures for the whole year
Airtel has been successful in making profits in the last financial year. The Sunil Mittal-led company reported a net profit of Rs 4,255 crore for the full financial year 2021-22 as against a net loss of Rs 15,084 crore in the previous financial year. At the same time, the company’s income increased to Rs 1.16 lakh crore in the last financial year. It was Rs 1 lakh crore in the financial year 2020-21, Gopal Vittal, chief executive officer (India and South Asia) of Bharti Airtel said optimistically about the opportunities in the coming years, the company is well prepared for it.
