BJP MP Arjun Singh’s car was attacked in Barrackpur Lok Sabha constituency in North 24 Parganas on Sunday. The attack took place in Shyamnagar under the Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency. The BJP has alleged that the Trinamool are directly behind the attack. Earlier, BJP MP Arjun Singh was the MLA from Bhatpara. He joined the BJP as a businessman with the party, and was a candidate for the Lok Sabha at the Barrackpore center. And from there he won. Ever since Arjun Singh’s victory, the Trinamool high command has been in full swing. And that is why repeated attacks on BJP workers are coming from Arjun Singh’s area.
It is alleged that the Trinamool dependent gangsters attacked the car of BJP MP Arjun Singh and broke the glass on his car. After the attack, BJP MP Arjun Singh said the Trinamool activists were planning to occupy the party office of the BJP. When I came down the field to begin investigating the incident, they attacked me. Arjun Singh said police were present there, but they remained silent visitors.
Earlier on Friday, the state BJP president and Medinipur MP Dilip Ghosh attacked Trinamool hooligans in Kolkata, the state capital. Not just him, the BJP’s supporters beat the grassroots thugs. The president of the BJP, as well as Medinipur MP, was going to attend the ‘Chai Pay Practices’ in Lake Town on Friday morning. At that moment thugs of Trinamool came and attacked him. Dilip Ghosh said BJP supporters with him were seriously injured. Dilip Ghosh directly blamed the grassroots for the attack.
