The US embassy has mourned in the death of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley. America said that Arun Jaitley will be remembered for his long and distinguished service. Specifically, he will be remembered for launching GST, promoting business ease and taking measures to combat corruption. The US Embassy said that former Union Minister Jaitley recognized the importance of US-India relations and worked to improve economic relations between the two countries. Former US Mission in India expressed many condolences and deepest condolences to the family of former Minister Jaitley and all the citizens of India.
The world is also saddened by the death of former finance minister Arun Jaitley. On Saturday, the French ambassador to India, Alexandre Ziegela, mourned the death of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley. He said that France stood with India in times of deep sorrow. Ziegler tweeted, “On behalf of France I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Arun Jaitley. India mourned the death of one of the most prominent voices in the Rajya Sabha and its former finance minister. France stands with India and others at this time.
India’s close friend Israel also lamented Jaitley’s death. Israeli Ambassador to India Ron Malka said, “I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Arun Jaitley and to the people of India on behalf of the people of Israel. May his memory be blessed, Om Shanti.” Arun Jaitley breathed his last at AIIMS in Delhi on Saturday morning. Arun Jaitley’s treatment was under the supervision of endocrinologist nephrologist and cardiologist physician. Arun Jaitley, wasbunder the supervision of Dr VK Bahl, head of the cardiology department, was undergoing treatment.
