Arjun Kapoor was about to debut with Govinda’s film, not ‘Ishaqzaade’, the actor said – ‘Achcha hua cut gaya role ..’
Actor Arjun Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Ishaqzaade’. Parineeti Chopra was in the lead role with him in this film. The actor recently told during the interview that he made his debut with Govinda.

In a recent interview, Arjun Kapoor revealed that he first shared the camera with Govinda. However, his scene was cut from the film. Admitting this, Arjun said that I have grown up in the middle of the film since childhood. When I was a TNager, I had assisted Nikkhil Advani in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. On his request, I also worked as an assistant director in his next film. I faced the camera for the first time in ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’.
Arjun made his debut with Govinda
During the conversation with Masala, Arjun told that I had shot with Govinda. In which he was playing the role of a taxi driver and I was playing the role of a customer who falls asleep on his shoulder in the taxi and he constantly tries to wake me up. This was a montage part of the introductory song. Arjun further said that the scene was removed from the film during editing. The actor said, “I was a part of editing so I knew that scene would be dropped. This was fun. Thankfully that scene was cut. But I am very lucky that I got a chance to technically debut with Govinda.
In 2007, ‘Salame-e-Ishq’ was released. It was directed by Nikhil Advani. The film starred Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Govinda, John Abraham, Vidya Balan, Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna and Aisha Takia. Arjun was last seen in ‘Bhoot Police’ opposite Saif Ali Khan. This film was released on Disney Hot Star. The actor is going to be seen in Mohit Suri’s thriller film ‘Ek Villain Returns’. John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria will be seen in the lead roles in this film. ‘Ek Villain’ was released in 2014.
