Apple’s Robot with iPad: Your Home Assistant

Apple consistently surprises technology enthusiasts with its innovative products, and it seems the company is gearing up to astound us once again with its upcoming home robot. Equipped with the latest features, this robot is set to assist with various household chores that users often find challenging. Let’s delve deeper into what we can expect from this exciting new device.

How Will Apple’s Home Robot Work?

Apple is reportedly developing a new home device that resembles a robot. This home robot will be integrated with an iPad-like display and robotic arms, enhancing its functionality. Codenamed J595, this project received the green light back in 2022. The primary aim of this initiative is to create a smart home command center that can seamlessly control various aspects of your smart home.

With this device, users will be able to operate all their smart appliances, make video calls, and even monitor their homes remotely. The robot will primarily use Siri and upcoming Apple intelligence features for its operations. Notably, it can reposition its screen during video calls, responding to voice commands like ‘Look at me’, making interactions more engaging and effective.

Scheduled Launch of Apple’s Home Robot

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a dedicated team of hundreds at Apple is actively engaged in the development of this device. It will utilize actuators to tilt and rotate its large screen, establishing itself as a competitor to existing products like Amazon’s Echo Show 10 and Meta’s discontinued Portal. As per media reports, the home robot is anticipated to launch by 2027.

Expected Price of the Apple Home Robot

While the exact price is yet to be confirmed, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that the cost of Apple’s home robot could be around ₹8.4 million. Initially, the robot will hit the market in the United States, followed by launches in Europe and Asian countries.
