5G services were rolled out in early October, but now telecom companies Reliance Jio and Airtel have started their 5G service not on a pan-India basis but only in select cities initially. Did you know that 5G Supported Apple iPhone models currently do not support 5G service from Airtel or Jio. Yes, this is a very shocking thing for iPhone lovers but it is true that Apple has now revealed that the company will soon release software updates for these smartphones.

Mukesh Ambani’s telecom company Reliance Jio and Airtel said that of course the hardware of iPhone models is compatible with 5G connectivity, but the software present in these devices does not currently support 5G.

Let us know that the iPhone 12 and all the models that came after it, as well as the second generation iPhone SE, all these devices come with 5G compatible hardware. This means that all these Apple iPhone models will get 5G support through a software update.

At the time of the launch of these models, 5G service was not available in India, due to which Apple had disabled this option. Apple says that we are working with network provider companies to validate the quality and performance of 5G networks in India.

Apple said that we are working with our carrier partners in India to provide the best 5G experience for iPhone users. But the wait for Apple iPhone users is still long, yes, if you are also an iPhone user, then you will also have to wait till December.

Note: We would advise you that as soon as the month of December starts, you should go to your phone’s settings and keep checking the software updates regularly so that as soon as you get the update, you can enjoy 5G service by installing new software in your device.
