Government preparing to reduce GST slab

Under this plan, the government can make a new slab of 15 percent by removing the slabs of 12 and 18 percent. With this, the slab of 5 percent can be increased to 6 or 7 percent. There is no plan for any change in the 28 per cent slab, ie this slab will remain stable at 28 per cent.
