In a recent episode, Bachchan reminisced about his college days and shared a humorous story. He revealed that during his undergraduate studies, he had received very poor grades, particularly in Science. With his characteristic wit, he recounted, “I completed my BSc without even knowing what BSc encompasses. I assumed if I applied, I would score well in Science; however, upon attending the first lecture, I realized I had made a monumental mistake.” This confession caused the audience, comprising many fans, to burst into laughter, and even he couldn’t help but join in on the chuckle.

Further elaborating on his educational experience, he noted, “In ten years, I learned that there’s scope in Science, but I managed to finish that syllabus in just 45 minutes. On my first attempt, I failed. When I finally answered the questions, I barely scraped through with 42 percent. I was just lucky to pass.” The atmosphere turned even more amusing when a woman from the audience remarked, “It was a good thing that you failed.” This comment caught Big B off guard, prompting another round of hearty laughter from all present.
The “Angry Young Man” of Bollywood
Amitabh Bachchan graduated in the year 1962. His Bollywood journey began in 1969 when he worked as a voice narrator before making his acting debut in the film ‘Saat Hindustani.’ Although this film did not yield substantial fame, he eventually garnered immense recognition through films like ‘Anand,’ ‘Reshma,’ and ‘Shara.’ It was the film ‘Zanjeer’ that catapulted him to fame, establishing him as the quintessential “Angry Young Man” of Bollywood, marking the beginning of an illustrious era in his career.

Following his significant stature in Hindi cinema, Big B is now poised to make his debut in the Tamil film industry, starring alongside Rajinikanth in the film ‘Vettaiyan,’ which is set to release on October 10 of this year.
