Chirag Paswan Re-elected as National President of LJP (Ram Vilas)

Union Minister Chirag Paswan has been re-elected as the National President of the Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP), also known as Ram Vilas. Following his re-election, he arrived in Patna, Bihar, where he was warmly welcomed by party leaders and supporters at the Patna Airport.

Chirag Paswan’s Commitment to Party Workers

Upon being elected as the National President for a second term, Chirag Paswan expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards all party workers. He assured them, stating, “I promise to fulfill the responsibility of elevating the party to new heights in the next five years with integrity and hard work.”

Electoral Aspirations in Jharkhand

During a recent national executive meeting held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on August 25, Chirag was unanimously elected as the President of LJP (Ram Vilas). He discussed the possibility of the party contesting elections in Jharkhand, either in alliance with their national coalition partner, the BJP, or independently, emphasizing the party’s strategic opportunities in future elections.

Reflections on Past Struggles

In a message to party workers, Chirag Paswan touched upon the tumultuous period in 2021 when the party faced a significant split. He reflected on that challenging time, recalling, “I still remember the day in 2021 when I went through a phase of struggles. My party had fractured, and I was removed from all positions. There were attempts to end my political career. However, it was your love, support, and trust that prevented me from breaking or bending.”

Success in Recent Elections

Under Chirag Paswan’s leadership, Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) achieved a remarkable 100% strike rate in the recent Lok Sabha elections, winning all five contested seats. Paswan himself was elected from the traditional Hajipur constituency, and the party also secured victories in Vaishali, Samastipur, Khagaria, and Jamui constituencies.

Conclusion

As Chirag Paswan embarks on another term as the National President of LJP, his commitment to strengthening the party and addressing the aspirations of the people in Bihar and Jharkhand is evident. His leadership will be crucial as the party navigates the evolving political landscape in the coming years.
