Boney laughed off Arshad’s claim about receiving inadequate pay, noting, “It took him three decades to bring up an incident from 1992.” He further pointed out that Arshad was not a star then and that producers had initially anticipated the choreography would take four days, but the music director Pankaj Parashar completed it in three.

Boney Kapoor emphasized that Arshad was paid ₹75,000 for three days of work, earning ₹25,000 per day. Kapoor expressed his view that Arshad had never raised concerns about his payment previously.
