Team India has won the T20 series in Hyderabad, but a problem has arisen in front of it which can trouble it during the T20 World Cup 2022. This problem is of 66 balls which can hurt him heavily during the T20 World Cup. Here 66 balls mean 6 overs of power play and 5 overs at the end where team india The bowling seems to be proving to be a complete failure. Team India faced a lot of problems in the powerplay in front of the Australian batsmen, while something similar happened in the death overs as well.
What happened in Hyderabad?
Talking about the Hyderabad T20, the bowling of Team India in the powerplay only opened. Australia scored 66 runs in 6 overs on the strength of Cameron Green’s hitting, in which experienced bowlers like Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar were also beaten up. Team India made a tremendous comeback in the middle overs. Team India gave only 57 runs in the next 9 overs. But once again in the death overs, Indian bowlers looted runs fiercely.

While the Indian team put brakes on the run-rate of the Australian batsmen in the middle overs, all the work done in the death overs, but the water got washed away. Team India’s bowlers gave away 63 runs in the last five overs. Interestingly, only 7 runs were given in the last over. Meaning Indian bowlers conceded 56 runs in four overs.
Indian bowlers performed very poorly in the series
If you leave aside Axar Patel, then all the other bowlers were heavily beaten in the series. Yuzvendra Chahal’s economy rate was 9.12. Hardik Pandya’s economy rate was 9.16. The economy rate of Bumrah was 12.16. Harshal Patel conceded 12.37 runs per over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave 13 runs per over. It is clear that before the T20 World Cup, this issue is a matter of great concern for Team India.
Team India’s death bowling was also a matter of concern in the Asia Cup. It was being said that after the arrival of Bumrah, this problem would end but it did not happen. Bumrah himself does not seem to be in rhythm. captain Rohit Sharma has also accepted this. However, he has expressed hope that Team India’s bowlers will perform well in the T20 series against South Africa.
