5G services in the country are going to start from October 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services at the India Mobile Congress on October 1. After the launch, people’s wait for 5G services will end. The Government’s National Broadband Mission has given this information by tweeting today. It has said that taking India’s digital transformation and connectivity to new heights, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services in India at Asia’s largest technology exhibition India Mobile Congress.

Mega launch to be held at India Mobile Congress

India Mobile Congress is considered to be the largest telecom, media and technology forum in Asia. It is jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

Experts say that India will benefit greatly from the introduction of 5G technology. The global industry body representing mobile network operators estimates that it is expected to benefit the Indian economy by Rs 36.4 trillion or $455 billion between 2023 and 2040.

What will be the benefit of 5G service?

The speed of sending and receiving data in 5G service is going to be faster than ever. This will not only save people’s time, but many applications of the new era can also be used easily. With the help of 5G, the customer’s experience will be better than ever before, and now it will take negligible time from transaction to downloading or uploading of files.

Through fifth generation i.e. 5G telecommunication services, high quality long video or movie can be downloaded on mobile and other devices in few seconds. It will support about one lakh communication devices in one square kilometer.

The service enables superfast speeds (about 10 times faster than 4G), cutting down on connectivity delays, and real-time data sharing across billions of connected devices. Through this, 3D hologram calling, metaverse experience and educational applications can be redefined.
