ford (Ford) Recently launched its Everest SUV (Ford Everest SUV) The latest generation of K has made a global debut. Which is also known as Ford Endeavor in India. The full-size SUV is based on the new Ranger pickup and gets new design elements, platform and many features added. The new SUV has seen one major change, which is its exterior styling. New-Gen Everest (New-Gen Everest) gets a boxier front end with a bigger grille. Along with this, Matrix LED headlights have also been given along with new daytime running lights. Some specifications of the SUV remain the same with the old model. At the rear, there are new inverted L-shaped LED tail-lights attached to a black colored plastic panel.
In terms of dimensions, the new Everest is 50 mm wider and has a 50 mm longer wheelbase than its successor. Not only will it offer better interior space, but also a more stable driving experience.
2022 Ford Everest Interior & Features
The interior of Everest has also been completely redesigned with a completely new design and layout. The new, upright dashboard now gets a portrait-oriented 12-inch touchscreen, which works on Ford’s latest SYNC 4A infotainment system and a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster (8.0-inch on the lower trims).
Security features for the new Everest include nine airbags, hands-free parking, adaptive cruise control with lane centering and Ford’s Pre-Collagen Assist with Intersection Assist.
Engine and Gearbox of 2022 Ford Everest
Engine options on the new Everest include two 2.0-litre turbo-diesel units, a single turbo and a twin-turbo version, and a new 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel like the new Ranger. Ford is yet to announce the powertrain details for the new Everest engines. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic depending on the engine and trim. The Everest will also be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive layouts depending on the trim.
In addition to this, Ford has confirmed an electric version of the Ranger. As the company has closed its manufacturing operation in India. Due to which Ford is unlikely to introduce the all-new Everest (Endeavour) in the Indian market. Recently, it was announced that Ford may resume manufacturing cars in India, after getting approval under the government’s PLI scheme.
