2022 BMW X4 facelift SUV to hit India on March 10, know expected price and specifications

Customers can book the facelifted version of the X4 SUV through the company’s official dealerships. BMW has shared a teaser on Twitter from which the design of the 2022 X4 facelift SUV can be guessed.

2022 BMW X4 The launch date of the facelift SUV has been revealed. The new SUV will be launched in India on March 10. The German carmaker on Tuesday announced the official launch date via its social media handle. bmw India (BMW India) Ltd. had earlier started pre-launch bookings for the 2022 X4 SUV with a token amount of Rs 50,000. The new SUV will be made in India and will be manufactured at the same carmaker’s India facility. Customers can book the facelifted version of the X4 SUV through the company’s official dealerships. BMW has shared a teaser on Twitter from which the design of the 2022 X4 facelift SUV can be guessed. The X4 in the new avatar has already been introduced in the global markets.

It is believed that the 2022 BMW X4 to be launched in India will be given many specifications similar to the global version in India. The 2022 BMW X4 facelift SUV will be the German carmaker’s second major launch this year, before the company rolled out the 2022 X3 facelift SUV.

BMW X4 price in India

The latest X4 model is currently priced at ₹67.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices of the 2022 X4 facelift SUV are expected to start around ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom) upon launch. It will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe in India. The 2022 BMW X4 facelift SUV will see a series of upgrades, including redesigned exterior features. The cabin of the SUV will also see some changes like a new and improved infotainment system. On the exteriors, the new X4 SUV will come with a redesigned BMW kidney grille, new LED headlights with matrix function and LED taillights.

Specifications of BMW X4

The interiors of the 2022 X4 will get a new dashboard that will house a 10.25-inch full-digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features like three-zone climate control, tweaked center console and new controls for the gear lever selector will also be given in the cabin. The SUV will also come with an engine start-stop button and an electric parking brake.

Under the hood, BMW is likely to use both a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine. The petrol unit is capable of producing a maximum of 248 Bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The diesel unit can generate maximum power of 282 Bhp and peak torque of 650 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. BMW could also include a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that churns out a maximum power output of 190 Bhp.
