The Chief Minister spend time with the eleventh grade (science) students at Agartala Sisu Vihar Higher Secondary School. He talked to students about the change in the education system after forming his government in exchange of views with the children. The Chief Minister said, “This is my first experience as a teacher in a school. In Tripura quality of education is lagging behind and we are focusing on changing it.” Dev asked questions about the history of the country and also asked where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was traveling at this moment. He added, “We should focus on quality education. Since that time, only two IAS officers have been from Tripura. To change this, we launched a scheme to support civil service candidates in the state. Where they are trained. Now, the path to your success at UPSC is open. ”
